River Gowy and Hockenhull Platts walk
12 July 2018, 10:00 - 15:00 (Add to calendar)
A guided walk to Hockenhull Platts Nature Reserve along the River Gowy.
The River Gowy is a hot spot for biodiversity in west Cheshire, from otters and water voles to tufted ducks and banded demoiselles. Join local recorder David Cummings on this walk along the river taking in all of the wildlife.
Enjoy a drink and scone at Walk Mill (included in the price) while hearing what species we may encounter on the walk and some of the River Gowy's history before setting off. Please bring along a packed lunch to eat when we get to Hockenhull Platts.
